Welcome to Chantiers Tramasset - A unique setting for film shoots

A former 19th-century shipyard on the banks of the Garonne River, the Chantiers Tramasset offers an authentic, flexible backdrop for your film shoots: industrial halls, historic slipways, a brick oven, picturesque ruins, huts on stilts and striking river landscapes. History and heritage The adventure began in 1837, at a time when the river was shaping people's lives. Pierre Tramasset founded the first workshop, which later became one of Langoiran Le Tourne's 10 shipyards, specializing in the construction of yawls, filadières, coureaux and gabares. The traditional know-how was perpetuated by his son and grandson, who expanded the business until the end of the 19th century with the construction of a second shed, an oven and a sawmill. The site remained active until 1985. In 1997, the association Les Chantiers Tramasset took over this Entre-deux-Mers heritage site, listed as a Monument Historique since 2008, and transformed it into a place of culture, crafts and living initiatives, where wooden boats, riverbanks and the river serve as a support for cultural, social and environmental projects.
