Architect-designed houseboat on the Seine

A houseboat on the Seine with a large living area and a teak terrace in a peaceful setting. The kitchen: a granite worktop of several metres, dark wood façades, stainless steel hood, and a rounded bay window, typical of naval architecture, framing the foliage. Bright, open-plan space, worktop usable for food or product shoots. The terrace: teak, stretched sunshade, loungers and table, facing the Seine. In the background, wooded slopes and the light-coloured façades of the opposite bank. The gangway: narrow wooden access, white handrail, dense vegetation, grey hull and a brass bell. The light is transecting across the main deck, with greenery on both sides: no vis-à-vis, no concrete in the frame. Water reflections on the ceilings in the late afternoon. The lower deck is more muted, suited to controlled atmospheres.
